Extensive background in property and casualty claim supervision and management.
Experienced in working with general management, underwriting, and marketing departments
in presenting and administering insurance programs for new and renewal multi-million
dollar accounts. Have been accountable for selection and training of an average 75
personnel for 5 field claim offices and a staff legal office. Have full knowledge
of budget preparation, salary administration, and quality control programs. Performance
rated "Commendable or Better" for 14 years by Hartford Insurance Group's

Eleven Years experience as an independent
adjuster. Two years as manager and producer for a large national insurance broker
and agency. Two years experience as an account executive for a large Oklahoma City
insurance agency. Owner and operator of Lewis and Associates Public
Insurance Adjusters. Served as an insurance consultant and expert witness since 1984.

Employed as an Account Executive with
Commercial Insurance Services, Inc. Since the agency primarily specialized in trucking
insurance, responsibilities included broadening the base of insurance written by
developing a personal lines department and a commercial lines department other than
trucking.
July 1984 - May 1986
Employed as Senior Vice President and Manager/Producer
of Bayly, Martin, & Fay at their Oklahoma City office and generated $3 million
in premium income involving over 600 new policies. As Manager/Producer, I was responsible
for producing half of the total policy count. Changes with Bayly, Martin, & Fay's
home office management and a proposed merger with Fred S. James resulted in the closing
of BMF's OKC office.
March 1970 - April 1984
Employed by Hartford Insurance Group.
My career with Hartford started as a Resident Claims Representative in Lawton, Oklahoma
in March 1970. I served in this capacity for six months before being promoted to
Field Claims Manager in September, 1970. I was promoted to Regional Claims Supervisor
in Oklahoma City in December, 1971, to Assistant Regional Claims Manager in 1974,
and to Regional Claims Manager in 1977.
As Regional Claims Manager, I was
accountable for the operations of five field claims offices, a staff legal office,
and a regional claims headquarters. During this time, the average number of personnel
for whom I was accountable included 75 claim personnel and 5 legal personnel. Accountabilities
involved personnel selection and the training of all claim personnel. Responsibilities
included claim file quality control for over 22,000 claims annually.
1959-1970
Employed as a Claim Adjuster for McNayr & Kinnmonth,
Inc. in Lawton, Oklahoma. In this capacity, I handled multi-line property and casualty
claims, including catastrophe claims. I was top producer for this firm for eight
of the eleven years that I held this position. I handled claims for approximately
40 different insurance companies annually.
